Curled Deer
The body naturally 'endorphinates' and comes back into 'flow'when it rests and sleeps. If you directly guide your body into the sensation of resting, you can achieve the same effect.
Let your head drop.
Let your chest and stomach sink.
Put your hands on your lower stomach.
Have a kind attitude down into your body.
Allow your busy brain to sink down into your body.
Allow yourself to sink into the sensation of having a sleep.
Experiment with guiding your breath into a calm and comfortable rhythm by noticing how it feels as it moves in your nose.
These images may help you: a deer curled up with its nose on its tail, a cat in similar position, a dog stretched in front of a fire, a foetus curled in the womb.
Stay 'resting' for a few enjoyable minutes.
